Finishing touches…06.11.08

Sephi and I spent most of the day today out in the yard… I’ve been doing bits and pieces to the exterior of the house to get it all pretty for the sale. I brought a high pressure water cleaner the other day and have been cleaning the outside walls, wow what a difference. I don’t feel guilty either as they use SO LITTLE water, it’s amazing! Still though, there was enough to form a small puddle in the driveway and of course Sephi was into it as quick as lightning. That girl has a major thing for water, I think it was even one of her first words! It doesn’t matter whether it’s in the form of a bath, a puddle, a shower, a hose or even inside her sippy cup – she loves it.
Tomorrow I will be signing a contract to enter into the purchase of a new house!! Even though the circumstances surrounding it aren’t very nice, it is still exciting. I fell in love with the house when I first saw it. I can’t wait to share photos of it soon! It still doesn’t quite seem real, everything that is. I’m sure it will hit me like a tonne of bricks when Sephi and I move into the new place.

Sephi is the most divine creature, those cheeks, eyes, the expressions – a perfect photographers muse! I am jealous.
